The goal of Stable Reading is to provide a safe, calm and supportive environment in which children develop a love of reading and writing. We are committed to helping children understand the reading process and break through barriers that may be hindering a path towards reading independence.
What The Professionals Are Saying
Becky S. Colleague
"Sharon makes each child feel like they are the most important person in her classroom. She is caring, loving, and motivating. The mutual respect and warmth that she has developed with her students is evident as you enter her classroom. She has taught many reading and writing classes to teachers so many parents have learned important techniques to use when helping their children with reading and writing at home. Teaching is a calling. Sharon has been given a very special gift. She absolutely makes a difference for children and adults each and every day."
Cheri W. Professor, University of Cincinnati

Her strong teaching skills are a direct outgrowth of her years of professional development and preparation, as well as, theoretically-grounded practice. Her thesis research made important contributions to the field of early writing."
